Image Recognition Marvel - Google Goggles

Recently I was going through applications of Android and I was amazed by this specific application of Google, Google Goggles.

This lets you search by taking pictures using your camera. This opens up a big world for the people who are using android phone.

Currently it recognizes following items:
1. Landmarks
2. Books
3. Contact Info
4. Art Work
5. Places (Famous spots)
6. Wine
7. Logos

Recently they added Text recognition also. This is integrated with google translation features. This can translate text in German, French, Italian, Spanish and of course English.

Google translate application is by itself a useful application integrating this with Goggles gives more advantage to the end-users.

Future of Goggles:
I think google will be creating some artificial intelligence robots. These technologies like search, image recognition is what human brains do internally.

These tools of google can evolve as real goggles with some LED screens which humans can wear or a robot which can recognize everything and act based on that. or some kind of robots which can understand, translate all languages and which can act and help in the global peace process.

I think too many possibilities with these technologies and nothing is impossible for google. People say Information is Wealth and google has both already, so lets wait and watch.
